RULES 

1. Training and Age Requirements

1.1 Only REBELfit Personal Fitness Trainers may conduct training sessions.
1.2 Members must be at least 17 years of age to use strength areas unless participating in an instructor-led activity or program.

2. Equipment Policies

2.1 Gym equipment may not be removed from REBELfit premises.
2.2 Report any equipment malfunctions to staff immediately to ensure the safety of all members.
2.3 Equipment cannot be reserved.
2.4 Do not lean bars or throw balls against walls, windows, or ceilings, and avoid contact with mirrors during activities.
2.5 Return all dumbbells, barbells, plates, and other equipment to designated storage areas after each use.
2.6 Spotters are recommended for all free-weight exercises involving overhead, face, or chest lifting.

3. Apparel Policies

3.1 Proper athletic shoes and workout attire must be worn in all areas of REBELfit.
3.2 Jeans or jean shorts are not permitted.
3.3 Closed-toe shoes are required at all times and in every area of REBELfit without exception.
3.4 Dirty or soiled shoes must not be brought into the gym at any time. During winter, wet shoes that may carry salt due to snow removal are also prohibited. Please use designated areas to store or change footwear. 

4. Assistance Policies

4.1 Immediately report any blood, injuries, equipment malfunctions, or facility feedback to REBELfit staff.
4.2 For assistance with guidance, lifting instruction, or any questions, consult REBELfit staff.
4.3 Speak with REBELfit staff for special accommodation requests.

5. Proper Etiquette

5.1 Seek staff assistance if unsure how to use a machine or piece of equipment.
5.2 Backpacks and bags are not allowed on the gym floor—use the locker area.
5.3 Chalk, including liquid chalk, is not permitted in any area of REBELfit.
5.4 Dispose of your garbage in the designated areas.
5.5 Let staff know about any spills, leaks, or slipping hazards.
5.6 Do not drop dumbbells. Avoid loud impacts when lowering weights, including in the deadlift area.
5.7 Return all weights and plates to their storage areas after use.
5.8 Wipe down all equipment and benches before and after use.
5.9 Keep personal workout areas clear, and avoid working out between people using benches.
5.10 If you feel faint or dizzy, stop, sit down, and seek assistance if needed.
5.11 Store all personal belongings in a locker.
5.12 Scooters, skateboards, and bikes are not allowed in the gym.
5.13 Do not hang personal items on cardio equipment.
5.14 Maintain personal hygiene to ensure a pleasant environment for all members.
5.15 Respect all equipment, fellow members, and REBELfit staff.
5.16 Follow all posted zone-specific policies and instructions from staff.
